Folks, This lovely signed lemon tray is signed by Tuthill and cut in the popular Primrose and Geometric pattern. It measures 7 5/8″ in length by 5″ in Dia. It is pictured in the Tuthill Research Book I on page DN77. Tuthill advertised: The glass in a class by itself. Tuthill never used pressed blanks and stated their “facet cuttings are like diamonds, engraving and intaglio cuttings like engraved gems’. Folks, here is a nice Rosebowl in pristine condition. It measures 5 3/4th” in Dia X 3 1/2″ high. Very nicely cut in Chain of Hobstars alternating with an unusual diamond motif surrounded by beading surrounded by fans. Cut Glass production consists of teams of 3-4 craftsman in the blowing process and a different team of 3-4 craftsman in the cutting process. Here is the problem with maintaining intrinsic values. If any one of the craftman is less that a true craftsman then the entire item may be forever without intrinsic value.
